LET THE SUN SHINE COMMUNITY CHORUS
Hey! Thanks for bing a part of the community chorus!
Here is what I need- video and audio of YOU singing one (or more) of the parts below.
Any Of The Parts Can Be Sung By Any Voice- Just put them in an octave that is comfortable for you!
WAYS TO RECORD
RECORD TO THE VOICE ARRANGEMENT OF YOUR PART. ( The others are for learning purposes)
Use the best camera and audio that you are able- ideally set up a camera (or phone) and video yourself recording into a microphone with audio software such as Logic, Pro Tools, DP3, or Garageband. If you can’t do that, a phone recording will work just fine. The click on the scratch tracks is set to 105. Load a scratch track into a track in your recording software and make yourself a new track and record to that, or just play it on headphones and record yourself singing along. The important part is that the scratch track can be turned off and we can hear just you singing. Submit your video and audio to Jes by email at jesraymondart@gmail.com. Let me know if you have any questions, and if you don’t know how to seperate video and audio I can do it for you.
For the best visual effect- stand in front of a light colored/white wall (or hang a sheet!) and use natural light (do it during the day in a room with a window.

First - an overview- here I am singing all the parts in the arrangement we’ll do (I left the click in to help us synch this all up.) And also- here is a trumpet version if that helps you hear what we are going for.
Here is the score written out (more or less) but remember- you can sing in whatever octave feel comfortable.

I’d love it if you could send me one melody and one harmony part. Learning the melody always helps make harmonies more in tune and connected to the phrasing anyway. Here are the melody parts.
